how are you supposed to take it when your mom talks to you about what will happen with their estate after they are gone when they have so many yrs left to live?

Suddenly almost 5 yrs ago and I was made executrix of the estate and had no idea what to do or what was going to happen.. We didn't know where to even start.
(My first comment came up twice .. Stupid phone)
And ontop of having no idea what to do.. I had the loss of my dad weighing heavy while needing to be strong cause I was a single mom.
