basically, I'm putting in my application for next Spring, because this shit needs to be done for a year in advance.
because i'm an ART ed major, my time teaching will be split, half elementary & half either middle school or high school.
i always thought i wanted to teach hs. however, for my dozens of observations, they never placed me in a hs, just middle schools. so now i'm thinking i'd rather do middle school
however, this semester of course they placed me in a hs for tutoring (well I think it's like a private school?). so now idk. will i end up liking hs better? will i hate it?
i want to make the right choice because you're supposed to student teach the age you want to actually teach when you graduate. so idk.
your tutoring is at a public special needs hs, i looked it up. I think student teaching at high school would be better, because, worst case scenario, you get experience in it and decide whether or not you want
yeah but it's student teaching. like, i'm at least comfortable at the ms level, god forbid they place me at like east side hs, i'll be eaten alive.
you get to pick where you want to student teach tho don't you?
i can list 3 "district preferences". who knows which school w/i that district, and who knows if i'll even be put in one of those districts?
ask for kinnelon boonton and denville.
cant do the town you graduated in
bullshit rules are bullshit.
no it makes sense. there could be bias.
