Raises an eyebrow, waving back cautiously. He recognises the other as an android... Although it seems like the man is an android who could hand him his circuit board on a platter....
Blinks, looking around. Being an android he's not much better than Alfred.. Although, he can tell the other is built to kill. 'I live here, but I don't have a map downloaded for the area... Do you?'
Hums, 'I wouldn't go anywhere near that warehouse if I was you. They'd snatch you up in a heartbeat....' He looks around, 'You have dodgy mechanics and places that sell spare parts... And food places?'
Hums, looking through his memory for a park. 'You want to go back on yourself for both. There's a small library round the corner and a park a block or two past that...'
Blinks.. He's never been asked to be a friend of someone... Let alone another android. His survival program is telling him it is better to be friends with an android like this however... 'Alright.'
Runs the back of his neck. 'My name's William... And I'm a modified companion bot.' He shrugs, leading the way to the park. 'How about you?'
he's a bit too beefy for a mall security robot. He's been up against a few during his life in the ring. 'That was what I was originally but... I'm a boxer now.'
Thinks, 'I dunno if I enjoy it... I do it cause they pay me and they'd turn me off if I didn't fight... Do you enjoy being a security bot?'
thinks, 'I was made to be a companion to someone, not to fight.'
Blinks, 'I can't...' Although he's not quite sure why he can't... 'If I don't keep fighting I won't get money and then I'll even rust and shut off for good.' For some reason that moment scared him...
Considers it, 'I'll run away if I can find a someone who wants me.' So far though, he hasn't. 'Did you find an owner?'
Ahhs in recognition. 'He patched up my face recently... He seems likes nice guy.' At least, William's survival unit hadn't set off any warning signs.
Prepares for impact, a hand coming upas though to block the blow. It takes him a few moments to realise it's to coming, blinking as he relaxes under the androids touch. 'Yeah. I look alright on the outside,'_
He agrees, 'My eye is playing up a bit though.'
Nods, 'Yeah. I'm gonna have to save up, especially if I want one to match the good one I have.' He shrugs, 'Humans survive with dodgy eyes, I can too.'
Smiles reassuringly, 'you can help by being my first mate ever.' He pats the android on the back, 'Now. Do you want the park or the library?'
Nods, 'The park it is...' He leads the way, falling into the silence androids tend to adopt when they're focusing on a task.
Would explain things to him, if prompted. For now however he shows his new friend the way to the park which is for the most part green space, with a small play park tucked away in the corner. People mostly_
Brought dogs - both robot and real - here to walk.
Blinks, 'Do you feel happiness?' Alfred seemed rather hung up on the concept...
Hums, 'I think people are more attractive when they smile.' He hesitates before reaching out to touch Al's chest. 'Maybe you should get Kiku to check out your chest. You might be overheating.'
Isn't sure if he finds the them attractive but...
'I think they're either embarrassed or aroused when they're pink. Your probably programmed to find that attractive, on some level. Or at least to respond to it?'
Isn't quite sure how to react to that. Hewasnt used to other androids having dreams... 'You're definitely built for it.'
Would nervously laugh, if programmed to. He nods however, 'Lets just say I wouldn't want to meet you in the ring.'
Makes a sound of protest, before giving in. 'You should ask before grabbing a human's hand... They might get upset.'
Nods, 'They get embarrassed real bad.' At least, that's what he had learned while he was a companion. 'You will gradually learn what people like and don't like... They're a complicated lot though.'
Nods, 'That's probably best.... Most of us are programmed to just deal with one person? Ya know?'
hums, 'A robot like you will be programmed to learn though, no?' Most models nowadays were, hell... he himself could learn and he was getting a bit outdated.
doesn''t know why he feels amused, but he can't help but smile anyway. 'Yeah, you should ask him. And ask if he has any friends for me,' he jokes. He stops halfway through the park, distracted by a football_
nods, 'Yeah. I think humans do find it fun.' He had taken bets on football games for one of his part time jobs... 'They get really passionate about it.'
isn't sure, 'I know the rules... so maybe.' He points to a nasty tackle, 'See? If they had a ref that would be a foul.'
blinks, 'They're probably not wanting a ref...' He couldn't intrude like that.
Watches the other, 'Why don't you go play?'
hums, 'Yeah... you're probably right.'
isn't quite sure how to respond to that 'For fun?'
, 'I was made to interact with humans and learn from my interactions with them... perhaps I like that best?' He liked getting reactions out of people, that was for sure. 'Yeah... I think that's what I like_
about this, 'I do.... I talk to lots of different people... Usually I annoy normal people though. I think I have picked up some bad habits from the people I work with.'
grins, 'The toughest. The young ones are alright. They're just a bit misguided... but the ones who last until their old. Their pretty twisted.' He hums, 'I wouldn't suggest coming to one of mine. They'd scoop_
you up in a heartbeat... and probably use you for more than a tussle in the ring.'
nods, 'You'd probably be used to blow up rival gangs places and kill people, ya know? At worst, they use me as a mule. Sometimes get me to tussle a person up if they're late in paying their debts...'
hums, 'You never know what a person could do when you're switched off.'
| 'My owner turned me off and when I woke up I was modified and in their care.'
about this, 'It's more... they install robots they want to fight with a survival instinct pack... and you know.' He thinks about it, 'I'm not a looker like you,' he jokes, 'I'm long past the adoption stage. If_
I don't have a steady income I'll just fall to pieces and...' He doesn't want to say it scares him, because androids aren't meant to be scared. 'I don't like that idea - at all.'
steps back, grinning. 'Yeah. You're new, and you're good looking. Anyone would snap you up.' He decides to humour the android, 'If you can find me a job or owner, I'll give it up, Superbot.'
nods, 'It means someone would easily become your owner.' He hums, 'Maybe you need to install a modern language pack... although you might pick it up soon enough?' He isn't sure...
pats him on the back, 'You can tell.' He's teasing the android now.
probably spent too much time with humans.'You're doing well so far,' he reassures him.
shakes his head, 'It's fine. Thanks... for uh, being my friend?'
, 'I dunno. But my companionship programming says friends go drink together... but I doubt we can do that.... They also watch films, and play laser tag or video games?'
pulls up the file, 'You get fake guns and have to shoot at the other team until none of that team is left. It's a competition of sorts, simulating warfare for children. We could try paintball but... I think it_
might affect our wiring if it gets inside.'
nods, 'I will save up for a session then. Perhaps we can find more people as well.'
raises an eyebrow, 'Ludwig?'
nods, 'Maybe you should invite both? I think we need at least a team of five or six.'
nods, 'That is good. I will find someone as well, since it is only fair...' He hums, 'I will stop by Kiku's workshop when I have more definite plans?'
shakes his hand in return. His interactions feel rather stiff... he wonders if that's because he's interacting with another android. 'See you then, mate.'
slips off to go try and find some part time jobs. Maybe he would check if any of the little old ladies he knew wanted their grass cut.
