notices the arm that's hanging off of him and frowns. That looks very familiar.
grins. "Would you like to buy some parts, sir?"
's frown deepens. "Where did you get that arm?"
raises one eyebrow. "Abandoned, from a trash can, sir..." he quickly pouts, faking a hurt face. "I'm just trying to buy some bread, sir, for my dying mother!"
'a lip thins at that because he was never sure when someone was lying or not. "How much?"
bites his lower lip. "300... Her medication is 500, though, help me!" he whines. "I'd ask for a 400, but I've not even polished this arm!"
thinks that's really asking for too much. "That's a really steep price." He wasn't sure how much he was buying into the man's story.
runs his hands over the piece. "It's a worthy piece... Here, it's unclean, but I say 300 is still less than anything you'll find in a store."
crosses his arm over his chest. "200. I'll take it at 200."
shakes his head. "275, sir, please, if you will... The inflation is heavy, bread is expensive even, we're losing space to the AIs more and more. 270!"
isn't really fazed by this. There was something about the man he didn't really like. "250."
sighs. "You, mister, have no mercy!" Still, he waves a hand. "Fine, better than no cash at all. It's yours."
doesn't really smile at that but pulls out his wallet and grabs the appropriate amount. "It was good doing business with you."
takes his money and bows. "I'm as happy as you are!" he laughs again, then dashes off before there's trouble.
