That under $300 price point is clutch. I think if they can somehow get it at the $199 mark, that would be so great. But man, I want to mess around with one of these. Have you seen one yet?
I was lucky enough to get a loaner from Google for a couple of months. It performs as advertised. Lightweight, easy to use, incredibly fast. Fortunately, you can use Google Drive offline, but wifi is a must!
That is great to know. How did you find it, in terms of durability. Obviously, with all devices, we should be careful and not drop them, but this just seems so lightweight (too lightweight?). Ya know?
It's almost as light as a tablet (think iPad 1). It's a simplistic design, a basic casing w/a screen & built in keyboard...not too much can loosen up. I would have no concerns w/this for the classroom!
