I don't see why there is a check-in at this point anyway. There's nothing happening there currently and after the final plot event it will be a sandbox anyway. Which means whoever can play whenever they wish.

Getting rid of anyone at this point seems a moot point.

They have to know who's eligible to vote for which sort of sandbox. It makes sense to me.

It's essentially to get a handle on the number of people still left in. It was a bit more important last month when we had the poll on game outcome coming up, granted, but of the people who did vote, we then

need to know who of them have stuck around.

Because yeah, there isn't much going on and people may well just decide not to hang around.

Then I don't see the point in a sandbox either. It'll be an awfully small sandbox. Not that it matters but just saying.

(And if they weren't paying attention I don't see why they would vote anyway. Or stick around in the comms. Or, a number of things.)

Chances are, you're right. But the option will be there.
