Our road looks treacherous. Just seen two cars drive past at snails pace. Could have walked quicker! DH has to drive to between Derby and Nottingham for his work. He's saying the main roads should be clear!

And besides he wants to play on his new winter tyres! Men!

my hubby has bravely trecked off to our nearest station to see if he can get to Sevenoaks to catch the mainline up to London. Haven't heard if he's been successful yet.

I made it to work. Train was delayed and had to make an extra stop but I made it.

DD is now on train to Birmingham, it was the first train to run this morning and it was over half an hour late so looks like trains are going to be all over the place. DH has set off up M42. Stay safe everybody
