catiecatknits: In answer to your question from yesterday, I just stuffed a large wedge bag with yarn to see what fits. And the result was:
latest #20

I fit 6 skeins of Cascade 220 worsted weight into the large wedge bag. I can fit the 7th in and still zip the bag but it doesn't look as nice.

I don't have any DK around, but the medium wedge holds 6 skeins of DDD Twist/Glitter Paws fingering weight. I figured that is a yarn you know!

vickiek so there is one larger than the medium wedge bags that are in the shop?

beaglemomknitr: Yes. The Large Wedge. (I'm very creative with my naming, eh?) I'll have some next week in the update.

sounds sweet - and for my future reference, what is the largest size bag you currently make?

Catiecatknits: The two largest are the Large Wedge bag and the Large Box bag. Both are sweater-sized or thereabouts. The Medium Wedge & Box bags will hold a large shawl, small sweater, baby blanket, etc.

Catiecatknits: And, yours will be done tomorrow. :-)

and the small wedge bag would be for sock knitting?

purplehayes: Yes. As a matter of fact, mine is currently holding a half of a sock and a cake of DVD sparkly Blue Christmas. I also used a small wedge for a worsted mitten project.

Thanks for all of the kind words & positive feedback everyone! I use the medium wedge for socks too. I can throw my wallet and phone in and run out for some coffee and knitting without taking my big purse.
