Why is it I go to a lot of these Designer Events and see a bunch of jewelry that's worse than what I make? (not ALL but a lot).

Makes me think, "Okay what do they have that I don't?"

They had the courage to enter the Event.

As far as I know events are not created by "Let's get all the best designers."

Nah I've applied for stuff. Some events are "Invite Only" tho.

It's a mixup of "First come, first serve", "All our friend", "You need to take me cause your house is on my sim" and "I am a sponsor, I MUST be in" ...

Invitiation is seldom done by quality.

There's a few exceptions, though.

On some quality is pretty high, but some single dsigners might not be THAT good, compared to all others in the same event.

Nothing we can do about, accept it or not. Won't change anything.

OR do your own event and invite all the designers.

Yeah I've thought about doing my own event... just don't have time

That's it. Events take lots of time and money too.
