yeah thats what you usually do. Then just do practice tutorial questions to help you understand

print lecture notes, highlight major crap & write stuff on lecture notes

better do your homework everyday just to keep up with the class. or you'll fall in the trap of bludging the whole sem away and failing exams

yeah take notes, but some lecturer they dont even go through the slides.. they expect you to read the slides and textbooks on ur own
