doesn't take him long to answer the door and quirk his brow even higher at Finland. "Guten Aben Finland...please come in." He says as he steps aside to allow the other entrance. "What can I help you with?"

slightly shaky as he walks inside, hands behind his back. He was losing the Winter War, and becoming desperate. "I am going to sign your pact." He states. "As we both hate Russia alike..."

quirks a brow at this, having certainly not expected this at all but at the mention of Russia he nods in understanding. "Are you sure you want to sign?" He wanted to make sure.

licks his lips. "If you.. Aid me against Russia, I will." He narrows his eyes, sweating under his clothes. "But I'm keeping my democracy, and you're not to invade me!"

studies him momentarily taking in the Fin's proposition as he nods slowly. "What's the state of your army?"

- "I have snipers, good men trained to resist the lowest temperatures." That are being slaughtered by the Russians, is what he mentally adds, but Perkele if Ludwig needs to know that.

pauses to maul that over in his head. "Why don't I make us some coffee was we discuss this further." He says as he ushers the man into his kitchen.

nods as he pulls out a chair for the Fin before heading straight for the coffee and getting to work on it. He wasn't sure if he wanted to open another front just yet. He had just made an alliance with the

nods. "I do... You can disguise your soldiers as Finnish." He tries, crossing his arms as he adjusts on his seat. "Or I could ask the Allies..."

frowns at that...he didn't want the allies anywhere near any of the scandanavians. "Nein, don't do that. How quickly can you mass produce Finnish uniforms?" He pours two cups of coffee setting one down in front

sighs. "I can get them quickly, but..." He sighs, pausing. "To cover your whole army, should take me a good six months, or a year." He could not sew quick enough, and he'd have to keep supplying his own troops.

mean more planning on his part because he just now complicated this war but if he could get resources from Russia without paying the larger nation that would mean he could use that money for other things. "That

won't be fast enough but I have a feeling Ivan will figure this out much quicker than we give him credit for. Can you tell me more about the state of your army?"

smiles a bit. "Then I can arrange it quickly." He nods, following the German's words carefully. He was right... "My army? We had our penalties, but as I said, it's well trained." He gulps, going pale.

nods. "And how far have the Russians invaded?" He'd rather a Russia not come from the north to fight him.

gulps. "I'm... actually trying to become independent from him."

such a conflict.

nods. "I know it should, but..." he sighs. "It'd weaken him greatly, Im' certain that's what you want." he offers.

definitely what he would want. "Alright, if you're that insistant on signing the pact. We'll help you. I'm sure we can formulate a plan to get rid of Russia."

narrows his eyes a bit. He felt like he had just caved himself his own grave. "Alright... But my people... They'll be safe, right?" he gulps, still a little shaky.

would not harm his allies people. "Of course they will be." He gets up and heads to the living room to grab the pact. "Do you think I would go back on my word?"

's lips thin a little. "Absolutely not..." he tries to force a smile, but it only makes his opinion more apparent. He wouldn't put it past Ludwig doing anything. "Good." he nodded then, watching him go.

could tell the other didn't completely believe him. He wasn't at all surprised. It was probably a good thing especially since his crazy boss had him doing things he didn't want to do.

hesitates, then follows the other. "I... What about the other nordics?" he tilts his head a bit, reaching over to place a hand in Ludwig's shoulder.

quirks a brow. "Everybody but Sweden has already..." He clears his throat omitting the fact that he had occupied them. "Allied themselves with the axis."

quickly pulls his hand back, covering his mouth. "Ah, have they?" he smiles sadly. "Then at least Christmas will still be somewhat happy, no?"

doesn't think a war filled Christmas could ever be happy. "Ja, somewhat is a good word to use. Here." He passes the Fin a pen. "I'm glad you've chosen to ally yourself with us." Any help they could get was

better than none and Finnish soldiers wouldn't be hard to train further.

hums. "I am only signing this so, when I declare independence from Russia, you won't invade me." he grabs the pen, quickly signing the document. "So don't backstab me."

understands this. "I won't evade as long as you remain an ally and help me when I need help in return."

nods. "Then I'll shot what you order me to in this war." He salutes, handing the other the pen and the document back.

take both things gratefully. "We'll win. That I will make sure of." He glances down at the pact noting how more and more signatures seemed to accumulate onto it.

that they won't... He was certain that, no matter who won, tho' things wouldn't be pretty. "I'll wait for your orders then."

nods. "I won't keep you waiting for to long. You'll be getting several units in the next few days."

nods again. "Then I'll take my leave." He smiles a bit, thanking the other as he dashes away.

would have let him finish his coffee but found that the Fin was much to quick for that and already gone. He let out a sigh before filing the pact in a secure location in his study.
