Perth is like my adopted parent, I really don't like people whining about it. It's not perfect, it's expensive, it needs more stuff, I know that, but it's no where near boring.

There's nearly 1000 activities/events going on every year, especially summer, SO MUCH to do. How many have you been to? Have you even tried to be more engaged?

Probably not, of course not, you're too busy sitting there whinging "ohh it's so boring here" and "there's no 7-11, there's no night markets". Seriously, get a life.

Lazy person always complains... no matter where/when/how they live.

Perth is eventful but not as eventful as some very happening places, i agree one has to make effort to check out for activities (rather than

sitting there and whining) because it is very unlikely to walk out of the house and run into the events halfway to your destination

Those who are seeking 24-hour convenience stores or night markets are mistaking inconveniency for boring. But having said that, Perth has

improved its conveniency by extending the retail hours of most groceries and department stores to 9pm on the weekdays

Perth will not get close to what these people want it to be in near future. But it offers so many unique, beautiful landscapes that one will

never found in other places. People will need to learn to change the perception and enjoy what it has got to offer
