Does anyone say the Act of Contrition or Confetior before retiring ? Sounds like a good practice, I believe I'll start doing this.

usually say the Confiteor as part of Compline. It's an option in the Liturgy of the Hours, and required part of the Breviarium Romanum.

Then you're one step ahead, Padre ! As a layman, I need to hold myself more accountable --weekly confession is great, but a daily examination will serve to fill in the gaps.

We do our nightly family Rosary at the very end of the day -- it's probably the worst time(all are tired), but it's when we're able to be together.
