body paragraph 1: the US exploits other countries because capitalism.

body paragraph 2: we exploit them by forcing them into debt so they can be dependent on us forever.

body paragraph 3: this means that the countries in question have gone to shit because of us.

body paragraph 4: half the shit we're in right now is because of the shit we pulled on other countries through this method.

I feel this is an accurate summary

...and my topic somehow turned into US imperialism motivated by capitalism

I probably COULD write an essay about US imperialism motivated by spreading our own ideals of "democracy" and "freedom"

but it would probably go way over the 5-page limit.
