i haven't had too much of an issue with sleeping actually! it was done with just a normal piercing needle, and then i have a labret bar in as jewelry. as for comparison the only other ear cartilage i've had

done was my tragus, and it hurt more than that. but definitely worth it! the place i go to for my piercings was actually running a black friday sale so it was only 20 bucks
