shirky17 thanks for these ideas. I use drive, iMovie, audionote, and a few others in my English classes. I know our science dept. and math depts are trying to justify the need. Not sure about HS apps.

It's not the apps but the functions...video a lab, document work, narrate a slideshow about concept , narrate problem solving

Yes. That's what I'm telling others--it's what the kids DO with the learning. However, teachers want something to add to their curriculum. Engages in the learning process...not the ned result. They are

kind of a hard sell. I've created the first high school iPad class, three years ago in my English class. Kids love it--but I don't even use the iPad.

It should not be about adding to the curriculum, but changing how they do (actually how students do) the curriculum
