like I am not kidding they seriously call him this.

and this episode makes it clear why. he is completely their mother.

...and I love how the kaijin in these shows just casually blow up entire buildings and it's not treated like a big deal

do they keep those sequences in power rangers? because I can't see that going over too well in america...

...ah yes, and now the one episode where they hint at sousuke's romantic interest in saki before they drop that idea entirely

of course, this being sousuke, he generally handles it like a first-grader would handle a crush: annoying her.

though I can't tell if he's acting like a guy with a crush or just a really overprotective older brother

and I love how the villains in this show actually PRAISE the monsters of the week when they do well.

they treat them like actual important subordinates instead of useless cannon fodder. it's oddly refreshing to see in sentai.

oh god and now sousuke thinks saki wants to MARRY this guy when it's actually all just a wacky misunderstanding

I am so glad they dropped this concept after this episode
