I was too cheap to pay for that or the post-race party.

Lorien: Cheap? Or very Smart? I'm going with the latter. It was a one time thing for us.

We get to see the holiday parade and fireworks and castle lights in a few weeks for free at Disneyland.

I know we won't do another post race party. Too costly, too pooped, too little to do.

Yeah. I was really disappointed in the post-race party. "Come pay $60 for a ticket, jump through 50 bazillian hoops to get $10 back in GC form, them spend MORE money at our food kiosks because that's...

...pretty much all there is to do."

"Oh, and we're going to completely ruin the atmosphere of the entire park."

At least the theming at the MK parties is decent.

Are you kidding?!? You had to pay for the food on TOP of your ticket? I'd have thought it would have at least included 2 or 3!

And weren't the attractions open? No Soarin?

I noticed that I didn't hear much about the race party and wondered why.

Lorien: Soarin, Circle of Life, Seas (w/Turtle Talk for the first hour or so), SSE, Mexico and Norway. That's it.

The $10 GC was intended to be used for the food kiosks.

But factor in tax and shipping and it was more expensive than the XMAS party, even after taking the GC off.

hollydog: I agree with Holly. It was such a boost to see and hear everyone when I came through Epcot. John and chuck enjoyed being at

Epcot while I ran. It kept them occupied. I didn't stay for the party and missed everyone.

hollydog: Even though the party itself was a bust, it was nice to be there for you, your mom and Carolyn.

I was cheering for you in my cozy bed! I swear a giant hammer came out of the ceiling and cracked me on the noggin when I got back to my room after Sanaa, I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.

And I think y'all know I love you without spending $80 to prove it!

We did the Halloween party once with some friends and had a BLAST, but only part of that was from the entertainment in the park and part was from dressing up and seeing everyone else's costumes.
