recurring supporting character, not part of the main cast but helps very often

Extremely capable in combat, never really shows it

seems like he often bumps into each main character individually during different times, up to one point when he meets the whole crew

actually one of C's associates, keeping an eye on them

actually one of D's men, working as a double agent

AJ feels a strange attachment to this guy from the moment he meets him

Sam develops admiration towards this guy, like a mentor of sorts

Jan has a playful rivalry against him

AJ figures out that the guy is in fact someone from his past, who died and sparked this whole downwards spiral of regrets that consumed him right before he passed over to this new world

this guy is the one that helps Sam overcome his big ol crisis towards the middle of the whole story

his interactions with Jan lead him to develop feelings for her

shit happens and the situation establishes that he is no longer fit for the job that D wants done, so he's ordered to come back to HQ

He says his goodbyes. AJ understands the situation and promises not to tell, Sam finds it sad but it's inconsequential to him,

Jan refuses to accept it, there was a lot of unfinished business between them in their rivalry and friendship, as well as some unspoken words. She progressively becomes more fixated on him after his departure

Jan has her own awakening from her crisis and channels it towards becoming stronger some other way. Subconsciously does things in a competitive spirit, thinking of him, still as her biggest rival

She becomes indulged in her growth and training to the point where she wants to become strong for herself, not because of someone else

Still unsure what I'm going to do for this next part, I have about 3 different ideas of how I could do this, but Jan develops feelings for him as well and things just aren't meant to work out for them

Also, implied/teased crush between this guy and AJ is very a very possible thing

He'll be at D's side during the final war, not sure who's gonna fight him but I want to set the story up in such a way that it becomes a very emotionally charged and conflicting battle for them

HMMM OR, I could kill him off early for that one scene I've really been itching to flesh out where Jan goes apeshit

but for the most the most part, I just want a recurring character that was essential for their growth, as well as a character that the readers can feel happy to see when he finally shows up

and I also wanted to flesh out that one dude from AJ's past that sparked all the conflict within himself

debating whether it should be a girl instead, HMMMMMM

the entirety of the story would stay the same, except it'll have lesbains and no implied yaoi crush... HMMMMMM........

I really wanted AJ being really attached to a dude, but...... I need more female characters...............

I need to design and flesh out this character as quickly as possible, since this one will start intervening really early on
