Considering I work in outbound shipping, we're given "goals" whereas other departments have quotas because we depend on their quota..

That's why we're so free to be borrowed.

But the reason tonight was so strange..

84,000 was our "goal". 95,000 was our "goal" Wednesday night and, unto this point, that was unheard of.

We shipped 94,895 or somesuch packages Wednesday with a crew of 15 or 16 people. That's moving some fucking product.

Tonight, we had a crew of 13 people by default. Okay, fair enough.. only 84,000 packages..

But then, the department "Sort" asked for three people.

I, along with two others, were chosen for Sort. We three are three of the best in our Ship department.

Then, before lunch, two others in Ship were also sent to Sort. Of those two, one equals another we had over there and the other was my teacher who's one of the best on the team period.

Minus one or two people left in Ship, our "best of" team was moved to Sort for the night with 84,000 packages left on the rolls.

They were practically ran over from what I've hearing.

I don't know if this was planned or not, and it's anybody's guess aside from the actual head of our crew.

But something about tonight just smelled.

On the plus, I am off for Sunday though.. paid vacashuuun -dance-

And reading this again, I've gotta say.. holy shit I'm tired.
