comes up to the porch after being out and about for a while. She notices Lovino looking a bit forlorn, and looks a bit concerned. "Is everything okay?"
kicks a little at the ground. "Si, I'm fine, dammit..."
steps onto the porch and tilts her head, "You sure don't look fine." She takes a seat next to him, "Tell me what's wrong." It sounds rather like a demand.
blinks at her before sighing. "Just... miss everyone..." Ok, he'd admit it. But just because she was a girl.
frowns. She agreed really. She was used to be surrounded by people, even if most of them were idiots. Without them there to keep things interesting, it was just too quiet. "Ah, si..." She looks at the ground.
glances over at her. "...Do you know your version of Prussia?"
looks over at him, "Her? Well, kind of, but we're not really friends or anything." She looks away and puffs her cheeks, "She can be pretty irritating sometimes."
figured that would be her response. He wasn't fond of his Prussia, either, the stupid potato bastard... He nods and takes another drink of wine.
looks curious, since she doesn't know what his relationship was with her. "Why do you ask?"
sputters and quickly looks away. "Ah... no reason..."
very curious now. "Eh? What is it? What is it? You can tell me!"
still doesn't look at her. "Have you seen her recently?"
looks thoughtful, "Hmm... it's been a while since I last saw her. Sorry."
nods and drinks some more wine.
pouts, "That still doesn't tell me why you asked about her."
blushes. "You don't need to know."
frowns, "Why not??" She looks away and pouts, "You're so stubborn!"
rolls his eyes. "It doesn't matter anyways."
huffs. "F-fine. Don't answer me then!"
...mutters something under his breath.
glares out towards the street silently.
"Dammit, I was dating her, okay? Geez..." He's bright red at this point and avoids looking anywhere near her.
's glare fades from her face. "......you were?" She glances at him and notices the deep blush. He was dating a potato lover?? She wasn't sure how to react. She could be mad at him for falling for a German, or-
she could easily tease him and embarrass him more. Yet... she wants to be sisterly. She smirks at him, "Wow, she's lucky then to catch the attention of South Italy. I wouldn't have expected it!"
really was expecting mostly anger considering how he felt about the male version of Prussia. He turns to face her, dumbfounded. "Wha... Oh, well, yeah, I guess." He tries to play it cool.
nods at him, "I hope you were able to teach her how to appreciate tomatoes!"
scoffs. "Of course, I wouldn't date anyone who didn't like them."
smiles smugly, "Good boy. That's the way it should be."
wasn't quite sure he liked being called 'good boy' but he would let it slide. He puffs his chest and tries to act macho. "Obviously."
narrows her eyes at him, "She didn't make you try any potatoes, did she?'
rolls his eyes. "She tried but I made it clear I wouldn't go near them."
relaxes at that, "All right." She takes a moment and tries to imagine Lovino out on a date with the Prussian and can't help but giggle.
tilts his head. "What's so funny?"
smiles at him, "Oh, it's nothing really~! What a couple you two must've been~" Now she was teasing him.
sputters a little and tries to act casual. "Wh-what do you mean?"
smirks, "A grumpy Italian and a cocky Prussian, that had to be fun to watch."
"Tch, I'm not grumpy." He wasn't even going to bother debating over whether or not Prussia was cocky.
puffs his cheeks. "No, I'm not, dammit!!"
smirks again, finding his reaction quite satisfying.
narrows his eyes at her. "Stop being so smug."
glances at him, "I-I'm not smug!"
huffs. "And I'm not grumpy."
stares at him silently, debating whether or not to argue.
stares back. Even though she was a girl, he would argue back about this.
sighs heavily and looks away. "Fine, whatever the fuck you say."
smirks and leans against the porch railing. He did feel a little better after talking to her....
sort of glad she wasn't here completely on her own. She wasn't going to show it right now though. She stares out at the street in silence.
happy he wasn't alone anymore.
understands that he was lonely and will most likely try to drag him out sometime to have fun.
would act like he didn't enjoy it.
doesn't really care if he would or not, but will try to force him anyway.
didn't have much else to do so he'd go along with whatever she planned.
relaxes a little, "I'm hungry."
tilts his head. "Hmmm... we could go somewhere and eat if you want."
looks over at him. "We could go out to eat?" She looks a bit excited, "Si, let's do that!"
smiles and stands up. "Si, let's go."
gets up to go with, "So where will we go? That place you told me about before?"
shrugs. "If you want. And then we can stick around after to dance."
nods in approval. "All right, let's go there then."
sticks his hands in his pockets and starts walking.
walks after, looking around at the scenery as they make their way to the restaurant. She seems a little lost in thought.
watches her, wondering what she was thinking.
mostly thinking about how nice it is that they're getting along better as compared to when they first met. It feels to her almost like they are siblings.
would have to agree. Though he always got along well with women so he didn't think he wouldn't get along poorly.
can deal with this, it's not near as annoying as being stuck with her sisters.
thought it was nicer to have a pretty girl than his lazy brothers.
looks up as they finally approach the restaurant and snaps out of her thoughts. "Oh, we're here." That seemed quick.
nods and opens the door for her.
walks inside and a hostess greets and seats them. She glances around the place, finding the atmosphere to be nice. "Not bad."
smiles. "Yeah, it's not bad." The owner of the restaurant catches his eye. He looks between Lovi and Chiara, raising his eyebrows and Lovi turns bright red.
notices his blush, but is confused. "What...?"
"Ah.... Nothing." He looks at the menu intensely.
"Okay..." She glances at the owner, not knowing who he is, then turns to look over the menu.
The owner slides up to the table. "Ah, Lovino, nice to see you. It's been a while." Lovino mumbles something before replying. "Si... This is, this is my... sister, Chiara."
blinks at the owner, "Oh, si. I'm his sister. Nice to meet you." She hides her face behind the menu.
The owner gives Lovino a knowing look before clapping both on the shoulders. "Haha, don't worry, I won't pry." He takes Lovino's menu. "What would the lady like?"
jumps a bit when the man claps her shoulder, "Ah!" She sets the menu down, "I think I'll try your cozze in culla."
's eyes go wide and the owner laughs. "Same as Lovino's usual, I see."
looks surprised. "Eh? Davvero?" She laughs nervously, "W-what a coincidence!"
tries to act casual about it but he just turns red and sinks in his chair a little as the owner keeps talking. "Si, si, he always orders the same things, never tries anything new!"
glances at Lovino, trying not to laugh, "Brother, you should try something new."
huffs. "I just know what I like, ok?"
smiles. "Okay, okay. Order what you like then."
...sighs and orders cozze in culla as the owner just laughs and walks off.
sighs softly, "I didn't expect our tastes in food to be that similar."
huffs. "It's not a big deal..."
"I suppose not. That man seems pretty friendly." She leans back as they wait for their food.
nods and looks around. He recognized a few members of the tarantella group that would perform later and sighs to himself. "I should have brought my guitar."
"Maybe next time." She brightens when the food is brought to them, "Mm, this looks delicious! I wish I came here earlier."
laughs quietly. "Yeah, this place is great." He starts to eat right away.
quietly focuses on consuming her food, though she takes some time to savor the flavor. It's a perfect combination in her opinion.
ate faster, never really taking the time to savor it. He liked the food either way.
takes a sip of her drink to wash down the food. This was turning out to be a pretty nice day. Meeting a few people and a good meal to wrap up the day, she couldn't complain too much.
supposes it wasn't too bad. At least he wasn't just moping around the house.
