anything small is nice. The Dollar Store is wonderful for candles, frames and such like. There's always chocolate. That's always a hit

Well, we're doing a "diaper raffle" and the other girl suggested two $20 gift cards for that, plus like 5 gifts for the other 2 or 3 games

it's getting a bit pricey. i said only 1 gift card for the raffle, plus small things - candles, note cards, nice soaps or ? for the others

never been to a shower with that high-priced of prizes. It's supposed to be about the momma-o-be.

agrees with you. The money spent on the shower should be minimal. It's better to give stuff to the momma.

I don't remember there being prizes at mine. There were games, but it was a pride thing to win.

the diaper raffle is you buy a ticket for $1. we raffle a prize, and mom gets the $ for diapers.

we're going to do a fill-in nursery rhyme thing, and the gift bingo where you number the gifts and mark off the #s as mom opens them
