Just speaking for a dietary standpoint, you realize juice is sucrose right? Straight sugar for that long it not a good idea.

If you want to do something healthy, drink water and eat protein, veggies and grains.

I'm kind of anti-fast myself......just doesn't feel safe or practical to me. But I know lots of people who swear by a yearly fast

meliabella: veggies don't have the sugar. I'd only use minimal. I want to rest my digestive system and cleanse.

It's actually a lot safer than the Standard American Diet, which is kind of killing us right?

I did that once. I felt horrible the whole time. My suggestion is heat up the veggie juices. I felt a lot better when I had solid food.

meliabella: juice is not just fruit. Spinach, kale and squash are great for juicing.

MissKatPegasus: Heating up kills enzymes and isn't as beneficial. It's not always easy and the bad feeling is the detox effect. Gets better.

CoggieTm: Yes, there are some wonderful combos! I have a great recipe book and a fabulous juicer.

I'm pretty healthy over all and think I could really benefit from the effects of a cleanse. I'll post my progress when I start.

Well that could be why I felt horrible! I guess I was expecting to feel better eventually and that never happened. I wish you luck!!
