SL Snapshots and Textures are the same thing—there's no need to convert back and forth. Snapshots can be used as textures, and vice versa.

As Lou said, textures and snapshots function the same. But I suspect you mean that the ones called "snapshots" have that landscapey icon,

while the ones called "textures" have the rainbow grid icon. Basically... anything that you or someone else took directly from the camera to

your inventory will be given stored as a "snapshot." Anything that was saved to hard drive and later uploaded is saved as a "texture."

You can't transform textures into snapshots, but if you really want to, you can download the snapshots and then re-upload them, making

them textures. But that's really not worthwhile, since it will cost you another L$10 each and won't change how you can use them.
