barely registers the footsteps behind him as he hums a soft tune, mind just assuming it was a squirrel or Pochi.

came up behind him and cleared his throat a bit.

jumps slightly at the sudden (quite human) sound, whirling around and blinking up at him in surprise. "O-oh, hello Sadik! I am

sorry, I didn't hear you come over.."

smiles at that as he watched him jump. "Ah no worries Kiku, you seemed pretty content on your... gardening?"

nods, standing and brushing his knees off. "I figure I ought to take care of it before the cold starts to come," he answers, smiling up

at him.

looked over the garden appreciatively. "Well it certainly does look good."

smiles a little. "Thank you. What brings you to my neighbourhood?"

shrugs and settles his attention on Kiku, "I haven't seen you in a while. I wanted to see how my friend was doing."

hums softly. "Well, it's been a lot of the same... how about you?"

smiles and runs a hand through his hair. "Pretty boring, work work work and more work. Dealing with other stuff that is even less fun."

nods at that. "Unfortunately sounds about right. The life of nation is never quiet."

sighs softly and nods in return. "You are as wise as ever Kiku."

hums softly at that. "Thank you for thinking so, Sadik, but really it is just an observation."

smiled at that, "you're humble too. On that note would you care to go for coffee or tea? My treat."

smiles up at him, shaking head at the humble comment. He perks up a little at the invite, however. "Oh yes, I think that would be

lovely, thank you."

nods and shifts a bit so he's not in Kiku's way. "Do you need to wash up or anything?"

nods, pulling off his gardening gloves to set them aside. "Yes, that's probably a good idea. You can come in and make yourself at home, I'll

take just a moment to change."

smiled at that and thanked him, "no rush." He nodded and followed him quietly.

smiles back at him, heading into the house and disappearing for a few moments to go wash up, leaving Sadik in the living room.

took a seat on the couch as he waited, not touching anything, though he did look over the living room curiously.

wouldn't mind Turkey making himself at home, he had visited here often enough after all. He comes back down a moment later, changed to clean

clothes and face and hands free from dirt.

smiled over at him as he saw him come back. "Ready to go? I'll let you pick the place."

hums, blinking up at him and surprised he would've invited him out somewhere without a place in mind. "Well, we could go to that place you

liked last time," he offers, smiling at him.

for a moment before he nods. "That sounds like a wonderful idea." He had really just wanted to visit him, he hadn't thought much passed

that.

nods, heading to the front to slip his shoes on. "I think it's usually quiet there this time of day as well, so it should be nice."
