grins. He's in the mood for banana pancakes! He walks closer and hugs her. "thank you Chrome-chan."

blushes and hugs him back. "You're welcome."

kisses her cheek. "I missed you~"

smiles. "I-I missed you too."

tilts his head. "so what have you been doing?"

shrugs. "Not much. What about you?"

chuckles softly. "me too. Been busy with the store I guess."

starts heating up the griddle. "I'm glad you're here."

nuzzles her hair. "aw how sweet. Do you enjoy my company that much~?"

blushes and nods.

leans closer, curious. "and why is that~?"

blushes darker. "I-It's just nice having someone around."

pouts. Such a plain answer. "ah okay~"

just wanted to hear something cute. Something like... I can't live without my byakuran-san~! Yea~

would never own up to that. She pours the pancake batter on the griddle.

waits patiently. "pancakes pancakes pancakes~" he sings.

giggles at his singing and flips the pancakes to cook the other side.

takes the plates out. ^^

places the pancakes on the plates once they finish cooking.

looks hungry. He takes a plate and looks for the syrup.

it's under the stove.

looks around for it.

bends down to get it out of the cabinet.

looks up. "oh thank you~" he takes it.

smiles and grabs her plate.

pours the syrup over the pancakes. He likes to drown them.

noticed. He sure likes her pancakes...

always liked her food! He cuts a piece off and eats it. Oh so sweet~!

takes a bite of her own. She did a good job.

smiles. "good job~"

smiles to herself. "Thanks."

takes bigger bites. He's hasn't been eating right.

notices the bigger bites. "You seem really hungry."

lets out a nervous laugh. "forgetting to eat..."

looks concerned. "Is everything okay?"

nods. "nothing to be concerned about~"

still concerned though!

pouts. "just... i dont know. I just didn't feel like eating at the time." he eats the last bite.

Was something going on?

shakes his head. "no nothing~" ^^

nods. Finished with her pancakes, she takes her plate to the sink.

grins. "thanks for the meal~"

looks over her shoulder at him from her place at the sink. "You're welcome."

puts his plates in the sink.

takes it and begin to wash it.

looks around. "where's duchess?"

smiles. "Probably under my bed."

isnt too fond of the cat. "ah so she is keeping you company?"

nods. "She's sweet."

sees her furry body under the bed. "she still hates me huh?"

shakes her head. "She doesn't hate you..."

pouts. "she does. she never approaches me."

sighs. "You scare her."

looks surprised. "what did i do?" D:

shakes her head. "How would you feel if a strange man suddenly threw you in a box and took you from your home?"

chuckles. "funny story. when i was about six..." he stops hinself there.

looks concerned. "What?"

blinks. "....i dont remember~"

walks to her bed. "come here kitty~" ^^

laughs as she hears Duchess hiss at the man.

pouts and sits on the floor.

sits next to him.

waits for Duchess. "She's evil."

shakes her head. "No she's not. " And the little furball creeps out from under the bed and into Chrome's lap.

slowly raises a hand to pet her.

stroking Duchess' fur. The cat hisses at him.

pulls his hand back and sticks his tongue out at her. "Hmph!" D:

laughs at his reaction.

crosses his arms. "I give you a better home than that alley and this is how you treat me..." </3

leans her head on his shoulder. "She'll warm up to you."

frowns at the cat.

keeps petting the cat as the kitty glares up at him.

sighs and continues to glare at the cat.

smiles. "Don't be too upset over it."
