out of the library for this and being all excited, it's a letdown. so I may try swatching for one of the others in the book!

Yep it is a mega bulky... I had a friend use wool-ease chunky and it worked out... she may have held double...

jknitma: everything was just coming out so dense to get the right gauge. it's ok, it's pretty but probably not flattered me that densely
