if anyone one is interested here's what she said and our convo is ongoing. lol
me: what are fan leaders? curious*
marco's reply : maybe ur talking about "oriki". they're not official fan club, but JE knows them cz they're old fans.
each group of JE has their own oriki.
there're 2 fan groups who are following their idol's backstage n private life.
oriki have their rule n r well organized.
"yarakashi" is bad one that doesn't have any rules.
I don't like both of them tho..xD
anw they're old fans. that "leader" means just a leader of them(`_´)ゞ
the one, that leader, is called "top-san" usually..xD
me : I bet the leader is bossy
omo both yarakashi n origin sound insane hihi
backstage is ok but 'private life'? seriously? ( ̄◇ ̄
we know all about the yarakashi's what they did to kame
fuca2: private life freaks me out too lol
yep sound a bit insane to me too
fuuu dun remind me the yarakashi
following their private life sounds like stalkers to me
sigh...they should follow their husbands instead. or bfs
what are the rules? drink snake's blood? ( ;´Д`)
sure they have some kind of initiatory rite ~
seriously, backstage and public events is one thing, but private life?!?!
yeah.. I was thinking the fan leader/oriki only organize the fans during events o_O
following them in private life is too much D:
steph_mendes: yep I thought the same that they organized the kind of non official events
idk which one scares Kame the most, could be the organized one (´・_・`)
I wonder what are they doing daily? setting up turtle' shrine? counting his moles?... wait..
lol XD
well.. if JE allows them, probably they don't go so far... o.O
That's the weird part... They sound like stalkers, if private life intrusion, but JE allows them? The same agency that's 'no pics'?
that's what so strange?..it's like how well does KT know these old fans?
ktkk_heart: Possibly, JE might use them as 'spys' on their idols.
never thought of that
.... Koki's fanleader was very busy years ago '-' LOL
Ohh me neither
but using fans as "spies" is so .... JE Orz
But reading this about fan leaders now I understand a couple of things that hadn't sense for me until now
...At this rate, still requires much damage control. LOL!
damage control
probably thei don't leak infos, bc their rules are very strict~ D:
the whole thing is a trip
Yarakashi are also allowed into private was what I gathered from Marco's description of "2 groups".
but yarakashis are "rejected". Orikis seems to be accepted by JE (so they are more close?)
...or not, as they have their rules o.O idk idk idk @-#
idk either some many questions unanswered
Looking the letters thing for example~ obviously they have some kind of connection with JE
yep
Letters thing? From the other Plurk? Letters to Kame (& Maru)?
bunniqula: yes letter to Kame (and last year Maru&koki too)
here in our country leaders has access to their idol even their cel number.
and they organized parties that their idol attended also
they has access even the managers of an idol
i even met a leader of one idol she said all the leaders from the diff. province went to the house of this idol
they can go inside the house and talk to this idol.
Awesome ~
ktkk_heart: some leaders are extreme too because they went to the places where their idol had shooting for either drama or movies
they don't care how far the places are.
some even went to the concerts even upto US itself
they sound like groupies
hehe that's how fanleaders and the members of an idol work here
except groupies have sex with them
band groupies
I wonder if KT has groupies xDD
kano0804: maybe they has it too but in private one hehe
you never know
but.. if the idol want privacy, they fan leaders respect it, ne?? o0
steph_mendes: stephhhhhh I can't believe you dun know what a groupie is xDD
(y did I think Koki got one? hauhauhauhau)
kano0804: Possibly. I remember Ryo & Koki being in a social group 'date'.
i was very 'into' an idol fandom years.. i was 'close' to his hardcore fans and his family
inverted commas = during that time i put a barrier between me and fandom..
i have seen how the select the fan leader/s and why some 'good' hardcore turned to become yarakashis
how do they select fan leaders?
when the idol started out.. the co's staff or managers will keep an eye on the fans attending..
if you went for enough events you will be noticed
of course the fans in turn will try to get closed to anyone they thought could bring them nearer to the idol..
the relationship starts from there..
the fans will try to dig info from the managers or from the idol's friends and family..
throught all these interactions..
the managers will have an idea who to pass info on next events to
thanks for the info
it was a interesting read.
and they normally will judge if these leaders are able to get fans to attend the events
sounds like a lot of favoritism
how desperate are these fans?...will they do anything??
My friend followed KAT-TUN in Thailand during 2002-2004 and after graduating, she went to work in Japan and continued following KAT-TUN. Lol
not really favouritism.. it just that the managers want to find there person/s
that is most capable to be the "bridge" between the idol and the fans
I meant following them in events! I guess she's accepted as one of oriki? So being a foreigner is no problem.
Its just you have to be well-behaved.
sometimes.. the fan leaders become very demanding themselves or went over the parameters of a fan.. that is when they got kicked out
Lin is right. Asian Idol are just like that. They need to have a bridge between idols and fans.
o i c
if you are in the inner circle.. you really get lots of benefits as in for concert.. there is always a good ticket for you
and you have everyone's phone number including the idol, family and the managers
but just to make it clear.. im not a fan leader.. just at the brink of the inner cirlce.. cos his mom and i got along well.
posting fancams started from then
and i was targeted and got sucked in..
the politics there was not less dramatic then Obama vs Romney
christy the mom of the idol i used to follow
ok
wait..what is this universe?
#inawe seriously i hv no idea....
i would strive to be a fan leader if the position would reward me the access code to kame's flat nyahahaha #andcloset
so those leaders that do something wrong and get kicked out turns into yarakashis, ne? o_o it's impossible to such kind of person return to
a "normal" life is a short time D:
alaaaaaa such an interesting convo
chris
I also believe that those leaders were for events only, but that about je spies is also possible XDD
yep
I'm so late for this ;__;
btw I think those fan leaders of Kame's has his phone number.
bc my friend said they got text from Kame (inside) told them to wait for him.
JFC actually helps it become fairer for all fans.
For me, I'm not interested in being that close to idols I like. Because there'll always be troubles followed.
And when you're close to idols, you will see good sides and bad sides of them.
Kame is famous for moody emotions when meeting fans in private. Maybe it's because his yara fans are severely troublesome.
(And I think Orikis can be annoying just the same. LOL)
At Hiroshima cons, my friend told me to look at one of Kame's infamous yara fans. She said the girl liked to be scolded by Kame. LOL
Sounded sick, right ? LOL
They said she used to invade Kame's apartment and she did lots of other troubles. That's why Kame walk as fast as he can when he sees her.
that's somewhat mental. just like those korean boybands' fans
......
they feel loved when they are being treated with such hostility.
I can see the appeal of wanting to be close to your idol, but yeah, seeing all the good AND bad sides... lol.
Let me live without my perceptions of them being shattered. XD;;;
Kame = moody most of the time. And no, I don't want to witness his moodiness. And I don't want to witness Kame's bad sides. LOL
am ok with knowing their bad sides. human. ahaha..but i really don't think its healthy to be attached that strongly to somebody who probably
oh.. it being reversed. lol. hate is strong word indeed.
"hates" me = annoyed by my persistent presence
For me, it's one thing to know they have bad sides (b/c yeah, ofc), but another to experience it firsthand lol
I'd be
hahaha.... But I believe Kame isn't really that 'bad'. During works, he does all his mights to make fans satisfied (scream, happy, etc.)
outside work, imo, entertainer is not obligated to 'please' anyone. it's their private time.
Agreed.
so long they didn't throw a phone.. or an umbrella snickers or becomes violent
krysyuy: Yeah, but your pref'd idol is less orz inducing in private life.
... private life & public perfs are orz inducing.
LOL!
invading apartament??? omg reming DBSK's crazy fans @ _@ Why the police can't arrest her? o___O
I thought jp idols don't have such kind of crazy do-m/suicidal fans
they are humans. they have flaws. I don't mind to be conscious of this, but like Krys said, I don't want to experience it XP
tho I think if Kame does something really rude to a fan, it's because she didn't respect him too. o_O
Even rejecting, he was really nice to that girl in a restaurant in Ginza days ago, ne?
seriously that is a stalker and should be arrested by police
anyway as fans we should know where we are, and respect our idols privacy, Kame value so much his private life that I'm not surprised
if he can be moody in certain kind of situations
plus he has have very bad experiences with fans before
when I talk about this issue certain papa pic from his teen days always come to my mind
he in a train st with his back on a wall surrounded by fans trying to give him presents and talk to him, his face is very graphic there
I think every famous person has this love-hate relationship with fame and fans and press, like certain amount of attention is good
and make them to feel valued and loved but there is a limit
to it that should not be crossed
and you can't be always in the mood to deal with fans, specially with his schedule, he should be so tired most of the time >___<
just imagine how should be only have privacy inside your home~ probably that is the reason he prefers to invite his friends home instead
end of rant by now
believe me if I say could write a essay about this
this is so interesting to read. thanks
christy
ur welcome
thanks to everyone's info ~ we got a inside look.
