So, the name's Radhiyan. He's going to go on a student exchange with
AFS to the US.
He is already nationally and internationally qualified for the exchange since he's passed the selections on both levels.
He was scheduled for his departure was actually on last August 8, 2012, but due to the fact that he hasn't got any family...
...who'd like to host him, his departure was postponed until September 8, 2012.
I can't tell what will happen if by September 8, he hasn't got any family who'd like to host him...
...and I really hope nothing like that will happen.
So, if you're a resident of the US, and would like to be a host family for this guy for around 11 months, and to have...
...an additional family member to be your son or brother, I highly encourage and recommend you contact the nearest AFS office, and...
...ask for more detailed information about being a host and about this person.
If you're really eager to know the various cultures of Indonesia, Radhiyan will be very honoured to share them with you!
If you're still wondering, "What is this Radhiyan kid like?" or stuff like that, the AFS office would be happy to share with you...
...Radhiyan's official AFS application which contains information about his background, natural family, interests, and so forth.
But if you're personally asking me what kind of person Radhiyan is, well...
He's the most enthusiastic and optimistic person I've ever seen in my life so far. He's hilarious and is always very ecstatic.
He puts on his optimistic smile
all of the time. It's so optimistic that it can cure cancer. Haha~
But despite his seemingly childish nature, he possesses a good leadership skill which was very apparent to me and the other...
...exchange students during our national exchange orientation program.
Once again, I'd be very glad if someone out there is willing to take Radhiyan as their host child/brother.
Contact the nearest AFS office soon! If you need any help to do so, don't hesitate to ask for my help!
It would also be nice if you could share this information to anyone who might want to host him!
// Revision (3rd response): "His scheduled departure was actually on last August 8, 2012." Ugh, grammar fail.//
