Doing laundry is so rascist. Separate tre whites. Give them the good detergent. Only the whites get washed in hot water. 
Me and my soon-to-be grayish/pinkish clothes are not going to be part of this discriminatory culture any more

well, that's the price you pay for throwing it all in together. Colored underwear helps a lot with that, though.
i don't separate the whites. i separate the tops and bottoms. may seem strange, but i NEVER wash undies with things that touch my face.

I don't separate and wash in cold. Sometimes towels get hot.
everything gets cold, everything gets the no scent no dye detergent, only the jeans get separate treatment

separates into very specialized loads. white tops, dark pants/jeans, brightly colored shirts, dance clothes... yeah, i'm OCD.
