belatedly realized, only after he'd said yes, that it might not be a good idea to let Gokudera stay long because Mukuro was also around.

--But Mukuro had been acting different lately, so maybe it'd be all right?

turned away to hide a yawn from the other boy. He'd been trying not so show how bleary he was feeling on the walk home.

frowned at Mukuro a little. "But it's not nice to tell people to go away. Gokudera-kun can stay here as long as he wants."

carefully scooped the boy up into his arms before ascending the rest of the way up the stairs and into Tsuna's room.

..... felt even more guilty, though, hearing Mukuro's reprimand. The other boy *was* correct, in a way.....

added, "... S-sorry. I won't do it again."

with a small sigh, "Well, at least you came back safely. ...Don't worry too much about it and just rest for now."

nodded and looked Mukuro over. His hair was still damp, like he'd rushed out after his bath and didn't see to it anymore in his worry.

Did you wait long after your shower?

You were sitting out on the porch... were you waiting for me?

sighed and pulled his pillow over, and then turned to his side and hugged it so that his face was partially hidden against it.
