because while that would totally work, there are very few other places to put males and females in the pool/on the track together - and at

most levels of competition, men and women get separate cumulative team scores. so there's not enough mixed to make that a reasonable

substitute/replacement. and if you weren't seriously asking, i'm sorry, i'm tired and my sense of humor is a bit broken.

many meets are swapped: the go to their track and their women come to our track

plus, those icky guys have koodies
