they're awful. Can I offer some advice, from someone who battled them for a month after 'catching them early'?

Comb with a fine tooth comb EVERY DAY until you have caught nothing for a week, using conditioner makes it easier to comb, and stuns them

bugger. I can recommend the conditioner & comb technique. It worked great for us.

it took us over 6 months to get rid of them, we even resorted to shavings dd's head, she got them over and over, no mater what i used

she just kept getting them, thankfully we have not had them for a while now and every few months i wash her hair in nit cream

I hope we can get on top of them. Time will tell.
