nods, smiling, "Then what about sugar cookies?"

smiles, "Okay, Sugar Cookies it is." he reaches into the cupboard, spotting some cookie cutters, he pulls them out along with the mix, " -

Let's use these!" he laughs, showing them to the other two.

smiles, nodding enthusiasticly, "And they can be Kaasan's late birthday present!"

blushes and gives a small smile. "Thou need not do that..."

him the wide puppy eyes, "But... I didn't get to see you on your birthday, so I wanna give Kaasan something!"

sees the puppy expression and breifly wonders who will win.

doesn't really have a valid argument. He just didn't want them going through the trouble for him. He sighs and gives another smile.-

"Alright." He says, patting him on the head. "But thou must promise to hath some when we finish."

Smiles brightly, "Of course!"

laughs at the scene reaching in the fridge to grab the eggs, and margerin. "Okay, one of you grab the big plastic bowl out of the cupboard."

get it. /goes over and pulls it out./

thanks him, taking the bowl and ingredients and setting them on the counter.

to mix it!

(Blah, meant put it together, but.. I just woke up, cut me some slack...)

tells him how much of what to put in.

listens to Basil's directions, smiling.

sits at the table and watches the scene with a smile.

finishes off the directions with a yawn.

looks worriedly up at him, "Did Kaasan get enough sleep last night?"

rubs his eyes, eyeing a quick, unoticable glance at Dino and shakes his head. "Ah, not really, but I will be fine."

catches the look and looks away, trying to hide his smile with his hand.

nods, "If you're sure." he smiles, continuing to mix the cookies.

nods. "Ja, I will leave thee to it then. Make sure cannot not see anymore single ingredients in the batter." He walks over to the table to-

sit beside Dino while he finishes.

smiles, chuckling, "Don't eat too many of the cookies they put you to sleep fast, and most times give you odd dreams."

pouts at Dino, continuing to mix the batter, "I heard that."

stiffles a laugh. "Do not eat too much batter either. It can make thee ill."

nods, "Don't worry, kaasan, I won't!" he smiles, seeing that the batter is complete.

smiles, walking over to help the boy, looking into the bowl, "Do you need help cutting the shapes out?"

nods, "We should preheat the oven, first though, right?"

(heh, I was gonna write they totally remembered to do that already again...lol)

walk over to another drawer to get out wax paper and a rolling pin to make the shapes.

nods, smiling, "Yeah, we should."

(/almost forgot about it again/)

reaches over, turning the oven to 350.

steps away from the counter, giving Basil space to work.

, "Kaasan should get to make the first cookie!"

lays out the wax and rolls out the dough. He nods an okay and looks at the different patterns, trying to decide which one to pick.

watches with a smile, wondering what type of cookie Basil would make.

finds a dolphin shape and hesitantly takes it with a blush...

-using it to cut out the dough.

laughs a little, that was kind of predictable.

smiles, "Good choice, Kaasan."

laughs awkwardly. He figured it would be an obvious choice for him. "Why don't ye two pick the rest, maybe like a surprise?"

smiles, "Sure."

nods, "Okay, Kaasan!"

smiles as he goes to sit at the table, facing the other way so he can't see them.

picks out a flower shaped cookie cutter, "We should try this one!" he says, smiling happily up at Dino.

nods, "Sure."

lightly presses it into the doe, successfully making a flower, "Now it's Otou's turn." he smiled.

nods, smiling, "Sure." he looks through the shapes, finding one shaped like a mouse, he smiles fondly, grabbing it and pressing it into the-

doe, cutting out a mouse.
