if anyone can give me more info about getting a MacBook. I think I want an Air. Does it matter how many GB, etc.? Pros/cons?

I also want to know about software. I am looking for photo editing and /or art type programs. What is included?

I just bought an Air in Feb... I love it! I bought the external super drive with it, but have barely used it.

The most important element of any computer to me is add as much RAM as you can afford. HD storage, processor, not so much.

RAM is the turbo of the computer world.

not saving stuff to desktop / hard drive is what allows you to go with smaller hard drive for portability

do u know how well apple tv interacts with smart boards and MacBook's? Just heard we may be getting smart boards.
JerryB

A smart board can be just a projection screen. the software shouldn't be a problem. The projector has usually 2 inputs, should be fine.

Apple TV interacts with projector, not the Board

The projector needs HDMI for all features. You could use splashtop to run your desktop from your iPad which means you can use smartboard.

I have heard that smartboard is coming out with something for this, but have not seen it yet.
