SHIT, DUDE!

Dryer caught fire and destroyed the laundry room. Soot, ash, & smell of smoke throughout the rest of the house. We are looking at 10 days...

Of hotel living while repairs are being effected.

Everyone is OK. By total disaster being averted, we are squarely in the ginormous pain-in-the-ass zone.

MiceCast: Damn, Mike. I wish I was closer so I could help. I hope the repairs go smooth and fast.

....that is putting the house back together.

notlwimp: the dryer was made by frigidaire and it was maybe 5 years old.

raedahlin: the fire burned for maybe 20 minutes.
