Greetings! Just emptied my rain gauge again! That's over 12" in less than 3 days folks. Found a little water seeping into the kitchen.

Doesn't appear that high outside. Guess I need to go outside and scope out the situation...

sand bags or towels work best for us during the FEW times we get heavy, heavy rains in El Paso. I hope there's no damage.

Are you surrounded by water, or is the seepage from running down the wall/window?

mollyjane: not sure where it is originating, appears to be coming in at the baseboard but no standing water on that side of the house.

Bud915: just hope I don't have to pull off the lower paneling in my kitchen bay window area.

shirky17: that's the truth, but after last Sept wildfire I can't complain about too much rain. I can happily cope with a little extra water

Bud915: I have the towels down. It seems under control, I just hope we don't end up with a mold problem.
