giggles at this and sets the cake down on the desk, glad theother hasn't noticed her yet.

sings a line or two, switching out the blush for eyeshadow now, a nice shimmery red.

comes up close behind her waiting until she's not actually putting the eye shadow on before she gets both arms around her waist and spinning

shrieks in her surprise, struggling at first without realizing who it was until she managed to turn around. "..A-Alicia!!"

gasps in delight at how she reacts, kissing her cheek when she turns to huff at her. "Madeline!" >u<

huffs at her indeed, though blushing a little with the kiss. "You scared me!"

smiles at her and taps her cheek. "That was the point. You were being so cute and dancin' around. I wanted to be part of the fun.

pouts at her, fake biting at her finger. "Well wanna let me go? I only did one eye!"

smiles at this and lets her go, kissing her cheek again. "Don't be huffy. I brought you cake."

hums at her, kissing her other cheek in return with a light blush. "Fine, I guess you're forgiven.

smiles at this and tucks her hair behind her ear. "Good! Happy Birthday!"

smiles, blushing a little. "Thank you, Alicia."

smiles at her. "Welcome hun. Got awesome stuff planned?"

hums. "Well I was thinking I'd go downtown and watch the fireworks and te shows and stuff, maybe the bars after? But it'll be jam packed of

smiles, turning back to the mirror to finish her eye makeup.

adds two temporary Canadian flag tattoos to her cheeks, before finally straightening up. She grins though, turning around and slapping one

blinks at this and doesn't actually register what she's doing. "Hey now that hurt!" >A<

laughs, holding her hand there for a bit, before gently peeling the back away, grinning at her.

pouts at her. 'Are you bein' a jerk?"

shakes her head. "I'm helping you celebrate my birthday~"

pouts at her and looks in the mirror, sighing. "Maddieeeeee I look silly. People are gonna know I'm an American."

shakes her head. "You can borrow my clothes if you want to match?"

huffs. "You're a jerk!" she says. "But I do like your little red dress."

grins, heading to her closet. "Okay, I can lend you that," she nods.

huffs again and walks toward her. Mean sister! Really who does that (other than herself).

doing it for payback! She pulls the little red dress form her closet, offering it to her.

smiles and takes it. She liked the dress at least. She changes right there in the middle of the room. No shame.

blinks at this and blushes, turning around so she wouldn't watch.

hums and gets the dress on and gives her the all clear.

turns back around, smiling. "Now you look like you'll fit right in," she nods.

laughs softly. "I guess that's a good thing." She stretches. "Are you ready to go then?"

nods. "Yup, do you wanna have cake now or later?"

blinks and gasps. "Oh right I completely forgot. Maybe it's better before you really get going drinking huh?

chuckles softly, leading them to the kitchen. "Yeah probably."

smiles at this and goes to open the cake box.

gets out plates and forks for them, setting them on the table.

smiles at this and grabs a knife to cut it. >u<

smiles, sitting down and waiting.

cuts the cake giving the biggest best piece to Maddie when she's done. She starts to sing happy birthday to her.

laughs a little at the singing, a little embarrassed since its just the pair of them.

sings anyways, wanting to do it anyways. She's laughing a bit herself but very happy.

smiles, clapping at the end of the song.

giggles and offers her the piece. "Take a bite!"

smiles, taking the piece and taking a bite. "Mmmm," she replies. >u<

smiles at this and claps her hands. "Good!" She starts on her own.

laughs a little, shaking her head. She had a ridiculous sister.

just happy it was good! It was her birthday cake after all!

there's always exceptions though! Like every cake England ever made.

smiles, leading to the busstop and waving at the next bus to take them downtown. They were free today, so it wasn't a big deal anyways.

settles into a seat, happy that her sister was excited too! And she's sure Alicia feels better dressed in red... pretty much the whole

bus was red or white.

noticed all the red and white. She's smiling. This was really fun, celebrating with her sister. She takes her sister's hand and squeezes.

blushes lightly and squeezes back, settling in for the ride. Luckily it wasn't too long.

wathces out the window anyways, alway enjoying seeing places even if she couldn't find her way around then.

leans against Alicia a little, watching other people on the buss. She motions to her sister when it's their stop, standing and stepping

off the bus.

smiles at this and hops up with her, following close behind her.

leads her into a crowd of people towards Parliament Hill, using it as an excuse to hold Alicia's hand.

quite alright with holding Maddie's hand, clinging to it as they go. She's been here before of course but she was eagerly looking around to

see all the people dressed up.

smiles, waving to people she knew and leading Alicia deep into the crowd so they could get closer to the stage to watch the musicians!

moves with her, trying to keep up. She gets distracted easy so it's good her sister has a firm grip on her hand

somehow manages to push her way to the very front, pulling Alicia up beside her. She's already cheering and singing along with the music.

comes in close to her, no real choice since the crowd is so packed. She starts cheering and singing too!

grins and nods eagerly. that sounded like a great idea to her. She has to push her hair back behind her ear.

smiles widely in return, turning back to cheering for the music. She'd wait until the set was over, at least.

dances, singing along until the set end. She laughs as people start to disperse a little, panting softly. "Shall we, then?"

nods and grabs her hand as they start to disperse, humming in delight. "Sure! Let's go!"

blushes a little and holds her hand, leading her off towards the marketplace to find a pub. It's slow going though, the streets are packed.

walks with her happily enough, not minding the bustle. The bustle was part of the fun!

brings her to The Highlander, a Scottish themed pub where the waiters wore kilts. "I like this place," she grins.

laughs softly and nods. "I can see why. This is fun."

smiles, getting them a table on the patio. "It might be my favourite, to be honest... I wonder what Scottie would think of it."

laughs at this. "I"m not sure. Maybe we should ask.

giggles softly and nods. "Next time we see her."

nods. "Yeah! next time! We'll mess with her a bit huh?"
