i'm trying to figure out if it's better to have Sira fight off Nasrin, or for him to need to be rescued

this damn plot, i'm trying so hard to figure it all out, but i'm just confusing myself and getting more and more self doubt

i mean, either way the Jael are coming to help the others, it's just a matter of... Sira being able to stab him and Nas running away

or Sira being injured himself before the Jael get Nas off him

also i'm scared, but i asked my siblings to help me figure out the fight scene - cause i can't do it by myself

but i'm nervous and i don't even know why, if anything it should be fun!

i'll try to be brief

basically in our writing class a fellow classmate recommended this story structure from a blog, which is the structure of pretty much every

movie/novel/story ever

it's a bit more complicated, but can be broken down into 4 sections

the Orphan stage, where we meet the hero and learn of their inner demons they have to fight

the Wanderer stage, where the hero basically runs away from their problems and can't deal with their demons, and fail

the Warrior stage, where they overcome their flaws and attack the problem head on

and the Martyr stage, where they conquer their inner demons and are willing to risk everything

^ it's a bit more complicated than that, but i tried to use it to restructure my novel and see where everything fit

and i sort of attempted to break it down into 2 'separate' stories - that of Sira and his romance, and Telyn's story

Orphan = Sira meets Daim, Daim leaves, we learn Sira's inner demons

Wanderer = Sira and Daim are reunited, but hate each other, this is where the Qillaq and Nasrin fit, pushing Sira's buttons and fears

in between Ljubica shows up

Warrior = Sira realises his feelings and is willing to fight Ljubica for Daim, faces his demons while at Albynor / starts to believe in

himself <- i'm MOST fuzzy/confused/unsure about this bit, with the Green Mor and Albynor

YOU LOST ME AT SIRA AND DAIM ARE REUNITED

Martyr = Sira confesses his feelings to Daim, opens himself up to love and trust and conquers his demons

THEN

Orphan = Telyn meets the Anax, i think i need something MORE going on here, we learn Telyn's inner demons and then...

Wanderer = I think she escapes and runs away, wants to save herself - i even thought, OMG, what if she meets Wavesong and Fia here?

i NEED some reason for her to go back, maybe there are other prisoners or Moren she wants to save? i'm still unsure

yeah, so Telyn leaves them, because she's so afraid of dying herself, and maybe she gallivants off with Wavesong

haha, well i might make him/her very different

but then she comes back like 'damnit, let him/her go, kill me instead' or something

i just gotta figure out what Sira's physical journey is - cause i know what his romance arc is, and i like the way that fits

and i sort of roughly know the places he needs to stop at or events that need to happen

but how he fits in with the Anax and all that... i'm not sure

also i reeeally need to figure out what the Green Mor gives him or tells him

HE WANTS TO HELP TELYN BUT HE THINKS HE'S TOO LATE AND THEN LJ GOES ALL DRAGON HUNTER UP IN THIS BITCH

i was vaguely thinking, oh, she unlocks his ability to shapeshift into a proper Mor, but then went, well that doesn't really do much does it
