團名 Devo 意謂著 De-Evolution，表示人類生活在往愈趨負面的方向發展

Devo 主要是對 80s 越來越商業化和理想淪喪的美國表達不滿；MV 裡頭每個人頭上都戴著倒反的花盆，暗示社會的發展是向下的、不健全的。但是向下生長的植物終究會扭轉自己的方向、重新向陽光挺直腰桿往上生長
