Not that he's trying to impress or anything....

over to the desk and hops up on it next to where Sadik might have been working.

nods and his favorite history to boot. "Well let's start with where we left off i class. After the conquer of Constantinople. However, maybe
you should take a better seat."
'But your desk is so comfy...' He grins, joking, and settles at a desk right in front of Sadik's. 'A fan of the Ottomans, are we, sir? _
As interesting as I find them myself, I'm hoping you can eventually convince me that Greece was best under their control.'

'Well, I think it all depends on what you decide means 'better off'.' He matches his challenging smirk and leans forward too. 'After all,_
Greece romanticized freedom and independance. Nothing could compare.'

tilts his head, liking that finally someone wanted to talk to him about this and also liking the way the Turk concentrated on him. 'Look_
at it this way, though. If you look around and think that everyone else has something you don't then you automatically want it. The Greeks_
saw other 'weaker' nations fight and sometimes win their complete freedom and probably figured they, as an ex-empire, deserved it too. They_
can't be blamed for being ambitious, right?'
shrugs. "I guess not but in the end it's what ruined their present. So many failed governments and bail outs from England who thought it
their responsibility to help them out. Shame that they couldn't do things completely on their own and the fact that relations were ruined
between Turkey and Greece made it an even worse situation for the Greeks considering their constant financial issues and the conflicts
they would have to deal with and also finding different economic partners that are further away or in as bad shape as them. Complicates
things a lot. It looks like the Greeks just buried themselves deeper in a grave they tried to get out of but failed. Tragedy if I ever heard
frowns, unable to really argue that what Sadik was saying wasn't true. 'Well, we do like tragedies...' He sighs. 'But I think my country's_
dire situation should be accredited to the fact we were living way beyond our means for too long. And taking on the Euro didn't help.' He_
looks up at Sadik, brow arched. 'But I wouldn't say relations with Turkey are as bad as they were, would you?' He gives a small smile. _
'I'd say the likes of us prove Greeks and Turks can be more than civil.'
leans back in his chair taking in not only what the Greek was saying but his appearance as well, enjoying the change of clothes from this
morning. "I wouldn't say that it was the fact you Greeks were living beyong your means. I think it was more that you guys lacked proper
economic sense to allow you to remain living in such a standard." He pauses for a second mulling over the last part said. "There is still
hope in the younger generation and what this is doesn't mean I actually like you." He smirks knowing that was an outright lie. He was very
interested in the young man before him.
pretends to examine his nails lazily. 'Well when you're as perfect as a Greek you don't have enough room in your talent space for economic_

me. And if you don't - and I couldn't understand why! - you'll grow to like me.' He finishes confidently.
