dude... albert pujols is MLB's best player

im talking in terms of perception/potential records broken, the like

however, pujols cannot be considered a better player than a rod

as much as i hate him

but arod consistently chokes in big situations + in september

thats a fairly new characteristic. and pujols didnt bat .358 as a 20 year old

which i find to be strong evidence of steroids for a rod, considering the year before he batted 232

no but AP did bat .329 at age 21 + .359 at 23

as well as being a consistently better performer in the postseason

i agree arod is one of the biggest names in the game but I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 best players in the game.

as far as the postseason goes, he hasnt had more than 15 at bats in a postseason in the last three trips, meaning the yanks havent performed

as a whole. when they are a contender, he bats well

plus he's miles better as a fielder. you will be hard pressed to find ten 12x all star, 10 silver slugger, 2 gold glovers

with an AVERAGE of 44 hr

i cant see any other current player fitting this criteria with the exception of maybe griffey, had he not been plagued by injuries

who by the way, certainly has my vote

A rod is no where near Pujols as evidenced by the fact that he used PED's altough Pujols is a bit suspect also

The only guy who can truly be said to have not used steroid is Jamie Moyer and his 82 MPH fastball

that said, he still posted better numbers regardless, and as far as i know, steroids cant enhance your ability to field. except perhaps
