wasn't paying much attention to where he was going and walked into the other student. He fumbled with his paper and text book.

reaches for the shorter male's arm to stop him from falling, raising an eyebrow. 'Lost?' he asks... the kid screamed new.

startled and looked up at him, quickly apologizing, though he wasn't a hundred percent sure why. "Eh, um... n-not really. I'm sure I can

figure it out."

him an attempt at a charming smile, 'Are you sure?'

blinks a bit at that, the guy looked friendly enough. "Eh... I think so... though if you could tell me which way to go to get to the science

offices..."

blinks, 'Well... you're going in the completely wrong direction for one. They stick the Sciences in the basement kid.'

frowned a bit at that, "the basement?" He was sure someone else had said it was this way.

nods, 'The Classrooms are this way, but you're looking for the offices right?'

nods, looking a little more confused though. "Y-Yeah."

nods, 'Then you definitely want the basement kid... They shifted them there after an incident the school calls the 'Green menace.' Don't_

ask.'

frowns at that, he was starting to wonder if this school was the best choice. "Um... okay."

nods, 'Just don't look the teacher in the eye and you'll be fine kid.'

stares at him, "um... you're joking right?"

shakes his head, expression deathly serious. 'Why would I joke about something like that... you don't know what happened to the last guy_

who looked at him the wrong way, do you?'

shrugged a bit, "no... I just moved here. But we had a teacher once back home. He ended up killing his two kids and his wife. It was a huge

deal in our town."

blinks... 'Well... he's not gonna kill ya, that's for sure. But the last kid got his hair bleached in a 'class experiment.'' He shrugs.

stared at him for a second before he grinned. "I'm not so worried about that kind of thing."

stares back, 'Suit yourself.'

frowns a bit, "I'm sorry... ah um... my name is Matthew. Thank you for the help."

blinks, 'No need to apologise. Name's Gregory... just shout if you need a hand in the future...' Of course he knows the other won't ask for_

help, false directions and all that.

nods a bit, "thank you. Um..." he thought he should say more but he really didn't know what else to say. "How do I get to the basement?"

nods to the stairs, 'Just keep going down. You can't miss em...' There is no basement.

nods a bit, "thanks..." He hesitated before he turned to leave, maybe he'd stop at his locker first and put his books away.

nods, waving him off as he turns to head in the other direction.
