I know! It's always so hard to ignore a crying animal. Our ferret did that when we first got him & it's so heartbreaking to hear.

yea, but they need to know the rules and who's boss. A spoiled dog can get extremely annoying.

i have 2 small dogs that are well trained, i dont see them as harder to train.

they are harder cuz to many people think of them as "babies" and treat them like human babies instead of like dogs

yea that's it. I've got a jrt and a shih tzu. JRT's a friggin handful tho.

first establish who's boss, and go on from there. They have to know who their food comes from, and respect that master.

yea, shih tzu's are easy to train if they respect you and they know who the alpha is.

they are exceedingly easy to spoil tho, I've an aunt with a p.i.t.a. shih tzu.

they're a very routine sensitive species, so you have to start em young.
