Since it's an Eastern practice in a very Western environment. :|a
Like, whether they would still be used in a traditional manner or whether behavior in them would get very Westernized due to their location-
esp since the Order is such a big organization and that's a lot of people to educate on the subject/get to follow the rules.
Especially things like the bathing stations. :|a
Yeah I think probably a lot of the proper rules would fall by the wayside
Probably, it's just a matter of which rules--like using soap in the bath itself or something.
Yeah, plus there's the ones that'd be some-degree-followed but not totally too
I AM MOSTLY TRYING TO FIGURE OUT IF HE SHOULD FIND THE LACK OF BATHING STATIONS WEIRD.
like shower before getting in and sharing your dirty water with everone etc
Or whether he would even bother showering beforehand or be used to just hopping right in.
I'm crashing but I'll mull on it :|a
Maybe there would be a general compromise, like--you don't go into the bath covered in grime, but it's still okay to wash off with soap
if you want, just don't dump too much dirt into the water. :|a
With the amount of people in the Order the water probably has to be changed frequently either way.
XD haha, I kind of assume the rules are ported over just for cleanliness' sake and cuz details like that usually aren't important in DGM
storywise, so they'd just stick with the customs the author is used to.
(but I'm someone who doesn't mind that sort of weird logic)
Knowing Hoshino I'm sure that's probably what she's relying on, but I'm tossing that out the window re: rp.
