I participated in anything in the local area. Art show started at 3 pm Saturday and went through to 2 pm on Sunday (all night!)

WOW!

What fun! Run by all volunteers - music and kids events and live art events, etc. I volunteered also to be a "mingler" for 2 hours on Sat.

night.. walked around talking to people and answering questions, plus made sure no one damaged any art, etc.. Got a volunteer shirt for it.

people could place a bid on any art pieces they were interested in... Just got an email that someone wants my painting!!!!

They do this once a year.. Loved the concept. There was some really awesome art I saw that night. Was held in a giant warehouse in one

of the neighborhoods in Pittsburgh.

it sounds eclectic as well. I love when communities support the arts.

yes.. me too - it's a community that is rebuilding - was run down and people are moving in and fixing properties up.. lots of artists there

there was art I saw from a 4-year-old, and also art from people older than me.. all KINDS of art. Some I didn't like, but some was just
