Me Too. (some years ago) I washed my hair with Shampoo then put the conditioner in.

I wanted to soak the conditioner for a while so wrapped my hair in a bath towel...

then fell asleep

Some hours later all the skin on my head did the wrinkly (wet-for-too-long) like wrinkly hands and fingers, too long in the bath.

My head was very painful as I washed it out very gently. Needless to say I didn't do that again.

"conditioner" is deliberately invasive powerful stuff and doesn't like it.
