why you pay collateral on a fine. And what the dog was fined for.

he took off on the pet sitter a few weeks ago. Animal Control picked him up about 2 hours later and took him to Oakland.

He didn't have his tags on (my fault) so I got hit with no rabies, no license and "dog running loose". OMG.

I have proof of license and rabies. But the "dog running at large"? $151? I didn't let him go JUST BECAUSE! He ran away!

it does suck. It also sucks that perpetual law-breakers don't get caught.

used to take Jim Quinn's dog back to his house at least once per week. She was ALWAYS running loose and without supervision.

the dog laws in these parts are the worst ever. I'm sorry. I wonder if you can file a petition explaining the situation?

It wasn't her fault....the dog has taken off on me, also. She feels terrible, though.
