I didn't give you enough to chew on for the day????
More than enough. I don't want to grade papers or plan for next week, I want to play.
Well, you learned Pinterest from Rosanne, so you have plenty to play with. Between that and Plurk, you will have no time for grading!
learn how to screencast some of your content for a classroom web presence
Sounds interesting, shirky17. Tell me more...
keeper6 do you have a class/course website or blog?
what topics are you doing currently or upcoming soon?
yes do tell us more shirky17
screencast is basically recording what is happening on your computer screen and narrating it...
and narrate what I am doing & how to do it & the ins & outs of it.....keep it short ~5 mins
google maps you could do a tour of sites, web based science demos you can go through and share some insights...
if you have a SmartBoard you can record problem solving
if you have a Bamboo (drawing tablet) you could use that with whiteboard software....
tell me what tools you have and what topics you are doing and i can toss out specific ideas
TEEhee You have to speak VERY SLOWLY to me in technospeak. roriley, however can interpret for me.
I have SmartBoard and Jing. Love them both.
You can screencast an iPad
keeper6 so what have you screencasted lately?
what have you done with Jing
I put lessons on my wikispace. The kids love the opportunity to work via the computer instead of paper pencil stuff.
Bamboo tablet is what I use to write in place of the mouse keeper.
Is that okay? Remember I am an amateur.
THIS is why I told you all to friend
shirky17! Thanks, Paul!
roriley so you can write out ideas/lessons/problem solving & screencapture the process while narrating the ideas
think video tutorials & flip the classroom
I have always thought that math/problem should be video...it takes steps and the books show them as a picture of all the steps at once...
i like the SmartBoard because it gives a large writing space
The problem occurs when the darn projector keeps shutting off. Wish I could fix it.
