heads over to Ludwig's home, carrying two small to-go cups of coffee and a bag on his way over. He figured Ludwig could use the coffee.

would appreciate it, he had all his paper work sorted in piles on his desk and was still trying to sort more of it.

uses his foot to tap the door, seeing as his hands were busy.

blinked as he heard the knock. He practically jumped up, glad for the interruption as he went to answer the door.

smiles at him. "Well hello." He greets cheerily, holding out a cup to him.

looked a bit confused but he smiled in return as he took the cup with a thanks. "Hello... Ah... come in."

- "I thought I'd pay a visit and just see how you were doing with things." He walks inside, offering the bag to him. It was full of cookies.

took the bag looking a bit confused but nods. "Ah thank you, it's always nice to have you visit."

gestures to that bag. "Cookies. For your coffee.." He clears his throat. "Er, would you like any help?"

looked at the bag and smiled a bit more as he nodded. "If... you don't mind helping. Gilbert has been of no help at all lately."

- "No surprise there... Perhaps I should call him and get him to sit down and help you?"

shakes his head with that, "oh no. He'll just be more of a pain than a help. Here we might as well share the cookies."

hums. "He needs to help you more often, though."

shrugs a bit, "that's easier said than done."

smiles. "No, I don't think so. Just need to nudge a little."

shakes his head as he headed for his office, setting his coffee and cookies down on the desk. "More than a nudge."

pulls up a chair, taking a sip from his coffee. "Maybe if the both of him talk to him, he'll buckle down."

looked over at him and took a cookie from the bag. "I really doubt that."

shrugs a little. "Alright, alright." He smiles, taking another drink of his coffee before setting it down. "What would you like me to do-

glances over at all the stacks of paperwork before he leaned over to pick up the stack pertaining to Austrai. "You can work on this stuff,

if you want."

licks his lips in concentration, nudging his glasses up a bit as he grabs a pen before taking one of the pages from the stack.

grabbed another stack and pulled the top file from it and started going through it.

- "And Gilbert never helps you?"

looked up at him and shrugged. "Rarely, he's always off somewhere. I hardly see him around here anyway."

shakes his head. "Something has to be done."

blinked before he shook his head. "It's fine, I'm pretty sure most of the time he should be working, he spends with you. I'm fine with

that."

- "It isn't fair to you, Ludwig."

shakes his head again and smile, "it's fine. Really, I don't have anything outside of work. He does." He pointed out.

looks up at him. "... Well, that's not true. You could have something."

laughs a bit at that as he paused to take a sip of his coffee. "I'm good without something." He nodded.

arches an eyebrow. "Are you really?"

nods, "yes." He wasn't sure why everyone seemed to think he wasn't. "How are the two of you doing anyway?"

just.. doesn't want Ludwig to be so alone all of the time, that was all. It couldn't be healthy. "We're doing well." He nods slowly.

perfectly comfortable with being alone, besides he has his dogs and Hungary visits often enough. "That's good to hear."

hums and looks through the pages he had been assigned to.

pushed the cookies towards him as he nibbled on his and signed off on one sheet of the file.

just being polite... he took another sip of his coffee as he worked through another sheet of paper.

hurries along with his stack. He got the vague feeling that maybe he was intruding on Ludwig's alone time.

actually liked having some help. He worked slowly, "thank you for the coffee Roderich."

- "You're very welcome, Ludwig."

nods a bit, he just didn't know what to talk to the other about. He moved onto another sheet of paper.

felt a little awkward around him. He didn't know why. "Are you almost finished? It's a lot faster with two pairs of hands, hm?"

nods a bit as he glanced up from the form he just signed. "Yes, thank you very much."

smiles. "No need."

shrugs a bit as he took another sip of his coffee. "I should thank you for so much more aside from just helping with this."

- "Oh? Like what?"

shrugs, "for keeping Gil out of my hair so often. Mostly though for making him so happy. It's good to see him happy." He nodded.

smiles faintly. "You really don't need to thank me for that. It isn't a chore..."

smiles in return and nods, "I don't doubt that."

smiles. "I think maybe the three of us should.. Um, go to dinner or something like that. I think you deserve a night out to relax."

blinks a bit at that and thinks about that. "Ah... that would be nice. You just don't have to do anything though."
